Coconut Chutney


An "authentic taste" in South Asian countries .....................?????? The guess is right!!!!!Itz Chutney...of course Freshly made...not the preserved or the powdered one...The most common one amongst this genre is "Coconut chutney.....which we make with either red or green chilli ..sometimes with both....



Chutney- meaning--------------"A portion of food"
letz stop with this information...and get set to prepare this..

ngredients:
Shredded coconut 1 cup
Red chilli 4-5
Green chilli 2
(chopped)garlic 1pod(small)
Small onions 4
Channa dhal 2 tsp
Ginger 1 tsp
Water 1 cup
Salt as per taste
Seasoning:
oil 1 tsp
mustard seeds 1 tsp
urad dhal 1 tsp curry leaves 1 to 2 sprigs
Method:
1)Grind and Blend mixture(coconut,chilli,garlic,ginger ,Channa dhal to a coarse paste.
2)Transfer it to a bowl.
3)Season it with oil, mustard seeds, urad dhal and curry leaves.
4)stir it once and serve it .

Best with :Idly,Dosa,Upma,Pongal

Really its new, I have never seen a coconut chuttny in yellow color,, white, red, green are ok,, But yellow, i wonder wat u mix in it,, anywayz,,, Hope i will taste it some time when i meet u.. Good Good,, keep going,,
